In this video, we discuss Queuing Theory and Analysis, and its application to our real-world experiences such as queuing in line when checking out grocery items, ordering value meals from our favorite fast food restaurant, or even when buying concert tickets. In the discussion, we have also used various probabilistic methods and formula applicable for singe server system model.
In particular, we have calculated the average customers in the system, the average time the customers spend in the queue and the average time they are served. We also mentioned that, as an important assumption in queuing analysis, the arrival rate of customers must be lesser than the service rate, or the queue would go infinity.
