Here's a short video about "Quick Clamps" , these are available from Bunnings here in Australia ( see their website - https://www.bunnings.com.au/ ) plus a variety of other hardware stores here in Australia too ; In this case - 1 of my 2 original clamps had failed so I opened it up to see as to what "was" wrong with it , after an inspection - all I needed to do was fix the broken release mech & "bingo" - all done! ; I hope that someone is able to make use of this info in my video to repair 1 that you might have at home.
That "annoying" rattling noise in the recording is the camera "trying" to keep the focus correct , NOT my voice being "annoying" as I was once told it was.....
