Quick & Simple Shabbat Dinner

Shabbat Dinner/ Sonya’s Prep/ Sirkanis/ Meatballs/ Capers Flounder/ Puff Pastry Desserts/ Pickled Vegetable Salad/ mayoless colesalaw/ Tuna Salad/Quick and Simple Shabbat Dinner Shabbat after Passover can be a little exhausting, so I tried to keep this nice and simple but packed full of flavor. It’s customary to make Schlissel Challah on the Shabbat after Passover. Please click on the link below to see how I made mine. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Shlissel Challah Tutorial https://youtu.be/hk2a88SpWOM Recipes from this video: Sirkanis- rice with chickpea 2 cups rice 1 can chickpeas 1 Cup of diced beef 1 onion diced 1-2 carrots diced 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup water 1 tbsp salt 1 tbspn chicken consome Cumin and coriander Cook covered at 400F for hour and a half mixing 1x after 45 minutes. In a saucepan sauté 7 crushed garlic with 1/4 cup oil. Pour over rice. Osvo-lamb and rice overnight stew: Grate: 1 carrot, 1 apple, 1 onion, and 1 tomato. Add 1/4 cup of oil to pot and above ingredients. Add 2 cups rice, 1 can tomato sauce, lamb bones and 4 cups of water. Season with 1 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp chicken consome. Cook for 12 hours on low flame. Meatballs: 1-2lbs of ground meat 1 onion 1/4 zucchini 1/2 cup of water Paprika Salt Consommé Pepper Garlic powder Coriander Cumin Cinnamon Flounder Fish with capers: 5-6 flounder fillets 10 cherry tomatoes 2 jalapeños 1 small pepper 6 garlic cloves 1 lemon sliced 3-4 tbsp of oil Fish seasoning S/p Paprika Garlic powder Cilantro Capers Bake @ 400F for 15 minutes covered. Uncover for additional 7 minutes. Cooke’s n’ Cream filling: 1 stick of butter beaten Add 1 container of cream cheese with 1 cup of confectioners sugar. Beat for 5 minutes.
