Paper drills in particular require regular upkeep of their drill bits. However, you also want to make sure you are servicing the right part of your machine. Occasionally we see customers lubricating the outside of their drill bits. Although it may seem counterintuitive, applying the lubricant to this part of the system actually does nothing for the equipment. The important part that requires lubrication is actually the inside. It can even be unsafe for you and your equipment to neglect this important step in maintenance.
