In 2012, ADIA proudly launched a small book featuring the stories of our first twenty-four Quiet Industry Achievers.
We were very pleased to present limited edition versions of the book to eight of the gentleman at the DRILL 2012 conference gala dinner: Stan Gricks, Robin Monroe,
Tony Walsh (for the Walsh family), James Colby, John Nitschke, Kerry Richardson, Brian Linaker (accepted by Jason Linaker) and Alan Ryan.
Our 'Quiet Industry Achievers' are true pioneers who are rarely in the public spotlight and prefer to maintain their privacy.
They are greatly respected - not for any material wealth that they may have amassed - but for their resilience, contribution and knowledge.
These individuals have walked the walk that has allowed Australia (and in some cases, New Zealand) to develop and prosper from its rich mineral reserves and groundwater resources.
