I wrote this song because I needed a reminder that happiness comes and goes, and joy can stay. I’ve been learning how to quiet the noise, trust God in the waiting, and see that prayers are often answered through the journey—not the shortcut. I’ve noticed that when I ask for patience, I’m given opportunities to wait. When I ask for help in marriage, I’m invited to face what needs healing. When I pray for elevation, I’m asked to let go of what no longer serves me. This song is my way of choosing faith when it gets hard—and believing that hard can be a bridge to the life God is building in me.
