I guess this is technically the first song I made this year, since my last upload was technically made a day before new year, lol. I tried going for a bit more of a cinematic feel for this one, with a sort of sci-fi mood? I don't know how else to explain it. I tried balancing the ambient segments with the 'explosive' sections too. As a side note, the first post-rock band I discovered is a band called God is an Astronaut (i'd say also one of my biggest influences), and I always liked how their music always sounded so epic and cinematic. I went into the post-rock rabbit hole after that, and it's still my favorite subgenre to this day. And because of their name, I associated post-rock with "space" rock at first. I'm still quite heavily influenced by them because of that. (Yes, this is a re-upload; the audio was a bit quiet so I had to boost it a bit!)
