Raymond “Nunka” Walker was one of the co-founders of the Nunukul Kunjiel Dancers in the late 1980’s/early 1990’s. A former member of the Imbala Graham grew up alongside the Brady brothers (Graham, William and Vincent) and performed with their group Imbala throughout the 1980’s.
Nunka is currently the oldest Song Man in South East Queensland. He is well respected and is focused on protection of culture and cultural practice. Working particularly with Indigenous youth over the years.
