Of ECE RCC INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Kolkata, West Bengal Academic Year: 2024-25 Abstract: This project report outlines the development of a voice-enabled client-server information bot for the ECE Department of RCC Institute of Information Technology. It was developed as part of the Computer Networks subject (EC692) curriculum. The system allows users to access department-related information through text or voice interaction over a local network. Acknowledgement: We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to our course coordinator, Dr. Sujoy Mondal, for his constant support, insightful guidance, and motivation throughout the duration of this project. His knowledge and mentorship were instrumental in deepening our understanding of computer networking and encouraged us to delve into the field of socket programming.
