I made a video before this, but forgot to set the filesystem to ext4 (any ext should work, but I had set it to vFAT by mistake).
also you'll be prompted to login as root before beginning the void-installer
sudo -i.
or sudo su
or su
The good part about the Live USB is that is doesn't require a login. The bad part is that to install, you'll be prompted.

Also, to install void ISO on a USB, the only USB-image writer that worked was Rufus, because it allowed me to designate GPT instead of MBR. DD is not required, but an option.
