Readers Notebook 3rd Grade

As teachers, we know how important the reading and writing connection is. When we ask students to write about what they are reading, we can clearly see their level of comprehension. In my own classroom, I have used successfully used reader's notebooks with my own second and third graders, as a way to for them to express their thinking about what they are reading.
