By the time they turn 4, children from families, who live in places that are considered disadvantaged, have heard something between 4 and 30 million less words than other children. Ready Steady will collaborate with children and families in public housing areas in the Illawarra to create podcasts that will engage, inform and help the whole community to improve language development and literacy for all children, and through that, create better life opportunities.
