Real mountains in Minecraft
I wanted to see what some real mountains would look like in Minecraft so I imported elevation data into the game and talk a bit about the different types. I make a quick tutorial for my process: https://youtu.be/ix4ecaixlmE Here is a link to the Teton World also. Its a beast to run. You will need 6 gigs of ram allocated to minecraft and distant horizons to see that far. If you are using distant horizons, i recommend letting it just sit there and generate the distant terrain before trying to explore. This world hard crashed my PC several times and its a pretty decent PC. I probably won't keep this link up forever since the world is on the bigger size. So, if you are from the future, I'm sorry. https://drive.google.com/file/d/12FR1NmGo0G8E3ivDQTmSkbUa4trP-5vd/view?usp=drive_link Music: https://www.youtube.com/@UCl-AOIxDfkcL0kanB-j1OHw Intro: Discord: icarotkd CMPatric1 world map. https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/mega-earth-1-18-most-realistic-minecraft-earth/ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/GneissName Discord: https://discord.gg/DuPeGrRwzC Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/gneiss.name BisectHosting was gracious enough to provide us with the Minecraft server we use for the community.
