REALM Framework: The Codex Folder Structure Explained | REALM Framework

In this video, I explain the Codex structure inside the REALM Framework. The Codex is the living memory of the Realm. It is not just a folder system. It is not just documentation. It is not a normal wiki. In REALM, the Codex is the world itself. Every Player and every Character depends on the Codex to understand what is true. It contains the identity of the company, the goals, the current work, the completed work, the Characters, the Player Cards, the decisions, the intelligence, the partnerships, the Sessions, and the rules that make the Realm function. The core principle is simple: The Codex is Truth. If something is not written in the Codex, the Realm cannot reliably act on it. A decision not written is a decision not made. A goal not recorded is only a wish. A completed Task not written back is not fully complete. This lesson explains the standard REALM Codex root structure: WORLD/ PLAYERS/ CHARACTERS/ SAGAS/ SESSIONS/ INTELLIGENCE/ GUILDS/ QUEST-BOARD.md Each part has a specific role. WORLD holds the Oath, Destiny, and Zones. PLAYERS holds the human Player Cards. CHARACTERS holds Character Cards, Class Sheets, and SOUL files. SAGAS holds active and completed chapters of work. SESSIONS holds Session Starts, Save Points, Raids, Reviews, and Patches. INTELLIGENCE holds external knowledge and research. GUILDS holds partner and alliance records. QUEST-BOARD.md tracks active work. The video also explains why the Codex is technology-agnostic. It can live in Obsidian, Notion, Google Drive, a Git repository, a folder system, or another knowledge base. The tool matters less than the structure. A beautiful tool with messy truth is weak. A simple folder system with reliable truth can be strong. The main lesson is: A Realm without a Codex is scattered AI usage.
