Recreating the MIND-BLOWING timelapse effect from MULTIVERSE

I recently came across "Multiverse" by Hiroshi Kondo / STNW, a short film on Vimeo that featured a unique timelapse effect I've never seen before. So naturally, I had to try to recreate it in Adobe Premiere Pro and this video documents that process. Turns out, it's a super easy effect to replicate, but it's also very tedious.
