Red Dead Redemption 2: How to create your first script mod (setting up your development environment)

In this video I am showing you how to setup your mod development environment for Red Dead Redemption 2. Anyone who has learned how to code simple Console applications in C++ (understanding pointers, functions, classes etc) will be able to code simple mods for Red Dead and GTA by having a look on this video. The reason why I am making this video is because there is little to no C++ tutorials out there that explain how to get started with coding script mods on either GTA V or RDR 2. So, many people including me had trouble getting their script to work and get used to the environment.
