red or blue button?

in the video i mentioned the argument for blue that the "selfless" "caring for other people" type of person would be practically wiped off the face of the earth. after thinking about it more i would take back this statement. i believe there's more nuance to it. i don't think that picking red makes you a bad person. i don't think picking red is also necesarily morally wrong. i think it's slightly nuanced to say that everyone who picks blue is automatically super selfless and morally superior to everyone who picks red, and that if the blue pickers were gone the world would be worse off. and while i don't disagree completly with that idea, i also don't undertake it completely. i just think it was wrong of me to say that in the video, twice at that. a friend of mine offered an interesting alternative perspective which i thought i'd share. an argument for red is; yeah, if you pick red and all the people who pick blue die, the would would actually be a better place because the "stupid" people who picked blue would just die, thus making the world smarter. food for thought. that being said, #goblue
