A cookie for the chocolate and mint lovers! ►Subscribe for more videos: https://www.youtube.com/cookinginnancishomekitchen?sub_confirmation=1 FOLLOW NANCI & ORDER FROM HER BAKERY ►FaceBook: https://facebook.com/NancisBakeShop ►Instagram: https://instagram.com/nancisbakeshoppe ►Tumblr: https://nancisbakeshoppe.tumblr.com ►Threads: https://www.threads.net/@nancisbakeshoppe #CINHK #CookingInNancisHomeKitchen #NancisBakeShoppe ▼RED VELVET BREAD RECIPE▼ ========================== Ingredients: •1 stick unsalted butter •1 cup sugar •1 teaspoon gel or 2 teaspoons red food coloring •1 ¾ cups all purpose flour •2 tablespoons cocoa powder •1 teaspoon baking powder •1 teaspoon salt •2 eggs •1 teaspoon vanilla extract •½ cup buttermilk •1 tablespoon vinegar •cream cheese frosting (see How to Make Red Velvet Cake) Directions: •Let a stick of unsalted butter warm to room temperature. •Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. •Grease or spray with cooking spray a large bread loaf pan. •Using a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix on medium the room temperature butter, sugar and red food coloring for three minutes. •In a separate bowl, whisk together the all purpose flour, baking powder and salt until they are fully incorporated. Then, set the dry mixture aside. •Add to the mixer the eggs and vanilla extract and mix on medium for a minute. •Add to the mixer the buttermilk and vinegar and mix on medium for about 15 seconds. •Slowly add the dry mixture to the mixer. Once the dry mixture is added, increase the speed of the mixer to high for about five seconds to get everything incorporated into the dough. •Move the dough from the mixing bowl to the bread pan. •Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. •Let cool to room temperature. •Pipe cream cheese frosting over the bread.
