Redirect HTTP to HTTPS with AWS Load Balancer

This episode covers the setup in infrastructure code to allow for the load balancer to translate or redirect http request to https. Users rarely know or are conscious about the protocol of the website they are accessing. User behaviour usually involves opening a browser and entering the website they wish to access which is usually through insecure HTTP protocol. For a built in client side translation or redirection like chrome, this is not a problem. However, the infrastructure needs to account for other browsers and so allowing the load balancer to redirect users to HTTPS will ensure good and secure user experience.
