Hey guys! In this new quick tip tutorial, I will talk about the new packages system in Houdini 17.5. This new system makes maintaining and editing plugin installs a breeze instead of editing your Houdini Environment Variable. In this video example, I will show how to install Redshift, MOPs, and Renderman using the new Packages system but it will work with any plugin that used the Houdini.env file before. I will also include a 7zip file for everyone to download for free with examples you can manually edit for your own workstation on my Patreon.
