Redshift will make your life 10x better as a Cine Designer user. It requires a modern Nvidia GPU and laptops like the Microsoft Surfacebook 2 (1060), Razerblade, or MSI/Dell will work great.
For the Mac/Apple users, you can use High Sierra and get an external GPU enclosure with compatible GPUs. This will work but there is a considerable loss in performance compared to Windows.
I'll be calibrating the Cine Designer Redshift cameras and lights to match the real world photometrics and exposures in the next big update.
