This video continues with rational expressions and how to simplify and reduce them to their lowest terms. Specifically, the video looks at a couple example problems where we need to analyze someone else's work on reducing rational expressions and find the mistake. The general strategy in reducing rational expressions is to factor both the numerator and denominator and see if any cancellations can be made. It is also important to recognize that certain x values are not in the domain. These values must be found since they lead to division by zero which is undefined.
