A motorized 9-position turret accommodates a wide range of indenters, indenter actuators with load cells and objectives as well as a cross-laser positioning system and a load cell supported touch probe. The multi load cell, closed loop, force control system meets or exceeds ISO, ASTM and JIS standards. It is part of the 7010 Series ofTinius Olsen universal hardness testing systems that accommodate different materials and component geometries across various industries. Other models in the series include the Evotech 7012 (200gf to 750kgf) and Evotech 7014 (200gf to 3,000kgf) Each system is equipped with Tinius Olsen’s Horizon material testing software platform that improves overall manufacturing operations by simplifying data capture, analysis and reporting to provide more intuitive testing analysis and actionable intelligence.
