Reference electrodes on screen printed electrodes

In many applications including biosensors, sensors, IVD, CGM, SMBG the reference electrode is silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl). This is fine in applications where the chloride in solution is fixed but does not work where the chloride concentration in solution is unknown or uncontrolled. On the ZP website many of our SPE/biosensors are available with a modified reference electrode format where the reference electrode is a true reference versus a pseudo reference electrode.
