This week, I’m soaking in the wonder of my child’s first play date at our home—the laughter, the tiny negotiations, the joy of shared imagination. It was such a privilege to witness the unbridled joy.
In the art portion, I explore a technique using alcohol markers, washi tape, and paint pens to draw leaves, then embellish them with gold details and textiles. It’s playful and layered, much like the joy I witnessed. I close with a quote that holds the feeling of that day—a reminder of how connection can bloom in the simplest moments.
