re:fraction – dub techno session 15C

I did my first real dub techno live gig ever some months ago, and it was a great learning experience. Previously, I never had to have any real plan when creating music; I usually just go with the flow and see where it takes me. This time, I had limited time and I wanted to fit 8 tracks into a 60-minute setup. I struggled with keeping it interesting the whole set with tensions and buildups. I like creating tracks in pairs, so I thought the transition between the tracks would be easier if I had the tracks paired in the same key and that they would flow together. Then between the pairs, I built more atmospheric transitions to be able to shift the character. This track is the intro of the second pair of tracks, also with the TD-3 incorporated as som sort of a lead.
