Angela Lunde, Associate of Neurology at Mayo Clinic’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, spoke to Washington County community members about re-imagining dementia. The session inspired caregivers and friends to view individuals with dementia with well-being as the primary outcome. In the United States, 1 in 10 people age 65 and older has Alzheimer’s, the most prevalent form of dementia.
