Remove old 20" baseboard diffuser register & install BASEBOARD diffuser register

Remove an old vintage 20" Baseboard diffuser register that is hard to find and replace with a new 15", 18", or 24" BASEBOARD diffuser register. Surprisingly this has helped me control the direction of air flow a lot and its cheap: https://amzn.to/3s7Y9L0 OR https://amzn.to/2ZwL6Xd INSTRUCTIONS: Very easy to do 6 Steps: Step 1: Remove the old floor diffuser register by removing the cover and locating the the 2 or 4 screws that hold it in place. If the cover does not come off then you may need to pry it off as well as if the baseboard diffuser screws can not be located or easily pulled off (as indicated in the video) then it will have to be pried off as well. Step 2: Clean the area. Step 3: Measure the rectangular hole and purchase the proper baseboard diffuser register. You may have to decide on getting a different size if your original one is not the same (like mine is a 20" in the video). Step 4: Install the the new Baseboard diffuser by screwing the 2 or 4 screw holes of the baseboard diffuser tightly into the wall without the cover on. Step 5: Put the cover on and test it. Step 6: (optional) Install tile or a wood border around the new baseboard diffuser if their is a 1 inch gap on each side.
