I haven't posted in a while, but this is basically what's up. My interaction with them is the same old. Princess lost a whole bunch of neck feathers so they needed some urgent de-sheathing when they were good and ready. Most of the blood receded way back down to her skin. New feathers grow with a sheath covering them that is removed during preening when the feather is ready and the blood has receded.
