Repentance Beyond Sin❣️

What if repentance is deeper than simply admitting you did something wrong? Reading the Book of Job challenged my understanding of repentance completely. Job’s friends believed suffering meant punishment and kept urging him to repent of hidden sin. But God Himself later revealed that they were wrong. Job had not suffered because he was secretly wicked. So why did Job repent in the end? Because repentance is not always about guilt. Sometimes repentance is: • a shift in understanding • surrendering the need to control • releasing pride • realizing how limited human perspective is compared to God’s wisdom “My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You…” — Job 42:5 Job encountered God more deeply, and that encounter changed him.
