Greetings! Watch me replace my purge unit in my Canon Pro-4000! I am NOT a printer tech, but I have a fair amount of experience working with electronics and repairing them. This was pretty easy. No need to continue after transferring the head sensor management unit, and the two little gears don't need to touch! Been printing for weeks with no errors! The part- https://www.precisionroller.com/qm4-5309-000-for-canon/details_pn_93113.html **UPDATE** Because I forgot to add the service mode steps for after the install, and they have been requested, here they are (also in the service manual) -Reset the applicable counter when the unit is replaced. SERVICE MODE -PARTS COUNTER - PG1 SERVICE MODE - PARTS COUNTER - PG2 SERVICE MODE -PARTS COUNTER - PG3 -Perform adjustment at the end of assembly. SERVICE MODE - ADJUSTMENT - NOZZLE CHK POS. -Reset the counter when the unit is replaced.
