The Ralph Wiggum Loop is an iterative software engineering technique that can be used for more than just writing application code. I used a graphics app to draw a reference visualization, and then the Loop generated a program that I can use in the future to automatically create similar visuals from different data sets.
What's even more important than what my prototype generated is the idea that a novel use case can be mapped onto an already proven framework. It’s an example of how we can leverage latent capabilities in our existing tools to solve new problems.
