A dense fog of dark ambience eases the listener into “Dust” before they are launched into the deep end with a wailing, sinuous drop that once again shows residence’s mastery of unique sound design. The second half carries on in suitably ominous tone, as a distant drum beat settles over an atmosphere right out of a survival horror game of old.
