The reason for this is that responsive teaching and learning requires educators to view students as a whole being. Therefore, recognising their non-formal and informal education as valuable and used that knowledge alongside their gender and personal preferences to support students' present and future learning. This approach places students in a better position for full maximisation of their latent potential.
