Restoring your digestion
Hello Everyone, In this video, I am going to share very important information on how to restore your stomach and spleen function for optimal digestion. Two weeks before each season's Qi shift, particularly before Summer begins (May 7 in the Chinese Almanac), there is an opportunity to reset and restore/increase the digestive Qi. This will begin next week until May. In Summer, the digestive Qi is at its weakest/lowest. That is why often in Summer you don't feel hungry or you eat very light. In these two weeks, you can boost the Qi and increase your digestion. You will have powerful digestion to help in the summertime to nurture the highest Yang Qi. Don't miss this opportunity. You may begin in the middle of next week (April 19/20). So how do you restore the digestive system? 1. This year is called Super Magic Square. This adds up to 15. It is really important for your stomach and digestive system to get 15 hours of rest. What does this mean? 15 hours of no food intake. The best way to do this is in the evening to fast for 15 hours anytime after 4-7pm. You may eat your dinner in this time frame. You do not want to eat after 7pm. When you eat after 7pm, you can easily get the Three HIghs. High Cholesterol, High Glucose, High Blood Pressure. Then no eating until breakfast time (15 hours later). Best to eat between 7-9am as this is Stomach Channel time according to the organ clock cycle. PLEASE check with your health provider if you experience special health concerns.If you are in general good health, this is my suggestion. These two weeks it is really important after each meal to either stand for 15 minutes or take a 15-minute walk. This will support your digestion. For dinner, you want to eat easily digestible foods (soft, cooked). If you eat meat, it is best to eat it at breakfast or lunch. In Spring, it is better to eat less meat. You can always eat eggs or fish. Take care of your digestion. This is your timely opportunity to reset/restore. This year, Super Magic Square is about lining up (aligning/connecting). Separate your feet parallel to your shoulders. Interlace your hands and push the Qi down. Turn left, then right, and return to the center. Lift arms and heels up. Use the healing sound "HU". Inhale then say the sound and lower the hands. As you lower the hands, you tap the heels on the ground. Bring the Qi back to the lower Dan Tian.
