In this video, LINBIT developer, Joel Colledge, showcases a DRBD feature, "resync without replication", that reduces DRBD resynchronization times. This feature will be available with the release of DRBD 9.3. The feature allows for active DRBD data replication and DRBD resource resynchronizations to behave in a friendlier way towards each other when both operations are competing for the same bandwidth. This can be helpful for DRBD use cases where network bandwidth is limited. Colledge explains the feature and then demonstrates using it in different I/O writing and resynchronization scenarios. Colledge also shows resynchronization times and bandwidth usage when using the feature compared to not using it. Learn more about LINBIT: https://linbit.com/
