The Krell are the extinct species of highly intelligent inhabitants of Altair 4 from the science fiction movie "Forbidden Planet" (1956), starring Walter Pidgeon and Leslie Nielsen. They created a very special kind of music, Krell music, which was composed for the movie by Bebe and Louis Barron using some self-built electronic instruments. Decades later, with the widespread availability of Eurorack synthesizers with random generator modules, it established its own musical style, the so-called Krell patches.
This particular Krell patch was created using a Behringer System 55 and other modules such as Chaos and Brains.
