Revelation Chapter 10 – The Mighty Angel and the Little Scroll Revelation chapter 10 offers a powerful pause in the midst of judgment, revealing a majestic vision of a mighty angel descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud and crowned with a rainbow. Standing with one foot on the sea and one on the land, the angel declares God’s absolute authority over all creation. When he cries out, seven thunders speak, yet John is instructed to seal their message, reminding us that some things remain known only to God. The angel raises his hand to heaven and proclaims that there will be no more delay—God’s plan will be fulfilled exactly as He has declared through His prophets. John is then commanded to take and eat the little scroll.
