$2 for 5 PCBs Any Color https://jlcpcb.com In this video I will show you the method I used to reverse engineer the pcb circuit from the Gophert NPS+1601 power supply. In the review video (Voltlog #255) I called this the best power supply you can get in this price range and that still holds but wouldn’t it be nice if it had a color tft screen that could show more info on the front panel? Reverse engineering can be a useful skill to have as an engineer or even hobbyist because it can help you understand circuits where you don’t get a schematic. This way you can repair them if they’re faulty or you can hack them like I plan to do with this power supply. Join me in this video to learn the methods I used to reverse engineer this circuit, turn it into a full Kicad schematic and figure out the signal range for the inputs and outputs of the front panel circuit. →NPS-1601 Reverse Engineering Schematic & Info http://voltlog.com/y/sprnt →Get the Gophert NPS-1601 from these places Aliexpress http://voltlog.com/y/6sdrx Ebay http://voltlog.com/y/sc5lx Banggood http://voltlog.com/y/8b95m →Test Probes Kit I used for probing these signals Aliexpress http://voltlog.com/y/b85sr Banggood http://voltlog.com/y/kcd92 Ebay http://voltlog.com/y/mn3uy Amazon http://voltlog.com/y/ht51w →Support the channel via Patreon, Paypal or Bitcoin http://www.voltlog.com/donations →Blog Post http://www.voltlog.com/ #VoltLog #ReverseEngineering #NPS1601
