This unit is a blend between a Conventional PPU & a Mark II PPU. It looks like a conventional unit but notice how the Equalizer Bearing is not directly overhead of the Gearbox Shaft (instead it is pushed out in front). With this change in geometry the up-stroke speed will be a little slower than the down-stroke speed (assuming the unit is running in the designed CW-direction) and the loading on the Gearbox is reduced.
