I demonstrate how to reverse score (a.k.a., reverse code) items in SPSS. First, I show you how to do it quickly. Then, I demonstrate multiple methods of doing reverse scoring, as you might prefer one method over the other, depending on your circumstances. Finally, I show you how to create reverse scoring syntax, so that you don't have to keep doing it over and over again for the same questionnaire from scratch.
