Reze was one of many girls kidnapped by the USSR and sent to a special government program to train super-soldiers dedicated to the motherland. In this program, she underwent rigorous military training and scientific experiments to enhance her natural abilities. At some point, a part of the Demon Bomb's body was implanted in Reze, turning her into a demon-human hybrid. Despite her feigned infatuation with Denji, Reze reciprocated his feelings to some extent and empathized with him, as neither of them had ever attended school. Although she uses a more manipulative fighting style, she doesn't seem to enjoy killing or harming others and prefers to avoid it unless necessary for her mission.
