RFID Universal Ticketing System Project

This video shows the demonstration of “RFID Universal Ticketing System Project”. As you know, we need ticket in order to travel by train or bus. Either to get ticket or to make pass for particular period we have to wait in long queues. This will increase our time of journey. This will also lead to miss those buses and trains which we decided to travel. This system will increase paper work. There are more chances of losing the ticket which will end up with hectic situation. To overcome these issues, we proposed a system where user can book bus, train ticket or metro via a universal RFID card. This system allows the user for transaction in each travel, recharging the travel card’s account and checking the available balance of the travel card. This system contains 3 RFID reader module connected to the processing system and a LCD. Each module is dedicated to a travelling medium, i.e Bus, Metro and train. As shown in the demonstration we also have a universal RFID card which works for the transaction for all of the three RFID modules.
