A new objective for the RHEL 8 RHCSA is VDO, the virtual data optimizer providing data de-duplication and compression. This feature also appears in CentOS 7.5 and later and we demo VDO on CentOS 7.6. You will see that as we copy similar data to a filesystem based on VDO space used does not increase with each file added. Deduplication does its' job
