Rhythm And Texture
》AFFILIATE LINK DOWN BELOW IF YOU WANT TO SUPPPORT ME.《 Gear doesn´t always matter, as long as it´s not what fits best for you. I realized my board hasn´t changed much during the last 6 month. It seems like I´m pretty much sure of the sounds I need at this point. I tend to swap pedals in only two slots these days. That said, with keeping everything more interesting writing songs this way, one of the most useful thing to do to my worklfow, Is experimenting with drums. I knew that getting the Polyend Step would open a whole new world of possibilies for me. Whenever I need inspiration, I either use a drum libary such as GetGoodDrums, or Step. The way of programming everything with actually pushing buttons and twisting knobs, is something that pulls me in. I´m just there experimenting. No pre programmed grooves, no presets. Just me giving everything a shot. With this song in particular, the drums are what makes it special. The whole vibe really comes down to the grooves and the choice of sounds. Step is limited to only four slots, but to be honest, that´s what helps me and my mind a lot. Get the most out of the limitations you have. It´s a lot of creative potential in them.
