Vibrant and full of energy! From the first note, the relentless pace and invigorating metrical shifts demand the complete attention of the audience. With a large battery of percussion and dynamic wind parts, the feeling of continuous motion is achieved. Yet, as a testimony to the skill of the composer, the themes have a certain melodiousness and flowing quality that add depth and appeal to the work. This is an outstanding composition to be added to the repertoire of mature bands.
