Heres a little 5 minute edit I made of our trip down into the Cañon del Río Maichín. The Río Maichín's waters start at the Nevados de Sollipulli Volcano and flow into Curarrehue where it joins with the Río Puesco to form the Trancura. Inside you'll find plenty of crystal clear water, boulder gardens, and towering canyon walls all in a Selva Valdiviana ecoregion. This is my favorite run in the Pucón area. It has a good mix of beauty, fun rapids, and a few that will get your heart beating faster too.
