One of my favorite tools - You can quickly and easily put a threaded hole in thin metal and/or repair a stripped out hole in an electrical box (see warning below). These are also called: rivet nuts, rivnuts, threaded inserts, blind rivet nuts, nutsert, ....
MATERIALS:
- Compression inserts (threaded)
- Compression tool
- Drill bit (per insert size) / drill
WARNING: Never drill into an electrical box with live wires. Protect wires. Always use appropriate safety equipment and procedures. If you don't know, learn or don't do it!
