Rural onboarding week 2 started off with a workshop on
CTG interpretation the rural health setting with Dr Mandondo.
A practical skill building session from a DCST obstetrician that supports rural doctors on a daily basis.
Dr Mandondo is currently a DCST O&G in Amathole district of the Eastern Cape.
She represents the EC in the Ministerial committee NCCEMD .
She was the winner of the SAMA Border region Local Hero award for maternal health in 2017 for her extraordinary work in maternal health in a rural district in the EC.
She is passionate about community obstetrics and developing doctors, as well as cervical cancer prevention
