A wide variety of steam powered vehicles on display and in action at the Bluebell Railway's When "Road meets Rail" event on Saturday 16th May 2026.
Featuring showman's engines, road rollers, a steam crane, steam powered delivery lorries etc.
The event was called when road meets rail and I had intended to include more rail content in the form of the goods trains that were also operating, but the demonstrations up in the event field were so interesting that I spent so much time up there watching and filming all the amazing things going on that I ran out of time to film the trains.
